What a day! What a day a year ago! A year ago today I set foot in NewSpring Church and have been going back ever since.
Last year at this time, I was running from God but over this past year I have created a relationship with Him and want the same thing for others. There is a difference in acknowleding God vs. having a relationship with Him. I could sit here all day and try to explain but I'm not.....it's something that folks have to learn on their own.
In a nutshell, if I had to say something I'd let it be this:
"God is God, not just on Sundays"

"NewSpring is a church for folks that think perfect people join church but they don't feel perfect enough to go.....those are the people we *want* to come to church. Heck we don't want *perfect* people, we want broken souls that want to know Jesus!"
Gotta go........got a piece of Publix cake to eat :)

Some people don't understand how important a good church home is to their Christian growth, but it's SOO vital. It's like trying to expect a baby to grow normally just letting him feed himself, instead of having the Mommy prepare food and feed it to him in stages. I'm so glad y'all got connected over there and have become so involved. It's been great to watch you "grow." :)
